텔레비전 주체 연구: 아씨며 새엄마며 이유없는 복종에 분노를 느껴라

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 1970년대 텔레비전 주체표상에 대해 탐구한다. 텔레비전 주체는 텔레비전 드라마에 표현된 그 자체로서 주체라기보다 해당 시기 사회에서 수용된 ‘사회적 주체’를 의미한다. 이는 대체로 생산자와 수용자간에 상호 동의되고 약속된 관습화된 이야기 형식을 통해 제공된다. 따라서 사회적 주체는 드라마와 같이 당대의 서사에 의해 해석되고 이해되는 주체, 다시 말해 어느 특정 집단에 의해 이해되는 주체가 아니라 텔레비전과 수용자, 수용자와 수용자간에 상호 주관적으로 이해되는 상호주관적 주체이다. 이를 위해 이 연구는 신문과 잡지 등에서 드라마 인물의 주체상에 대한 담론을 분석한다. 이러한 방법론은 텔레비전 드라마 주체에 대한 ‘당대의 평가’ 혹은 ‘당대의 해석’을 살펴 볼 수 있게 해 준다. 이 글은 우선 텔레비전 드라마 주체에 대한 해당 사회의 담론이 어떻게 형성되고 있었는지 당대의 자료를 토대로 분석하는데 주안점을 두고 있다. 이를 통해 이 연구는 1970년대 텔레비전에 부여된 사회적 주체의 주체위치를 파악함으로써 우리 사회의 각 주체들의 성격, 더 나아가 주체간의 관계성의 뿌리를 설명할 수 있다.

This study exams the representation of television subject in 1970s. Television subject means the contemporary 'socialized subject' rather than subject as it was expressed in television drama. It was provided in the form of conventionalized narrative admitted and promised between producer and audience. So, social subject is the one interpreted and understood by contemporary narrative such as drama, not the one understood by specific group but the one of inter-subjectivity, understood between television and audience, audience and audience. For this framework, this study analyzes discourse of subject in drama personality from contemporary newspaper and magazine. Firstly, this article focuses on how was discourse on television drama subject framed in the basis of contemporary data. In this way, this study, catching hold of subject position of social subject endowed in television 1970s, can explicate the characteristic of each subject in our society, moreover the root of relationship of inter-subject,
