무용수행능력 검사 개발

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 무용수들의 무용동작 수행능력을 타당하고 신뢰롭게 측정할 수 있는 도구를 개발하는 것이 그 목적이다. 구체적으로 이 연구에서는 1) 선행연구와 기존에 사용되고 있는 무용수행능력 측정도구들을 종합적으로 섭렵하고, 무용공연 또는 경연이라는 특수한 상황적 자극에 대한 동작수행능력을 타진할 수 있는 문항을 개발하여 예비검사를 제작한 다음 2) 이를 대표적인 무용수를 대상으로 실시하여 자료를 분석 한다. 이를 통해 무용수행능력의 본질적 구인(construct)을 밝혀내고 3) 이를 근거로 최종형 무용수행능력 검사를 제작한 다음, 4) 이 완성된 검사의 신뢰도와 타당도를 경험적으로 검증하였다.

선행연구 결과 등 이론적 탐색을 통해 개념화된 무용수행능력은 무용수행을 위한 체격, 체력 및 적성 등 선천적 요인과 연습에 의한 동작기술성의 상호작용 결과로 이해할 수 있으며, 협의의 무용수행능력인 동작기술성은 다시 동작 그 자체의 기술성과 예술성의 상호작용으로 정의할 수 있다.
무용수행능력을 구성하는 각각의 요인(무용체격, 무용체력, 무용적성, 무용기술성, 무용예술성 등)에 따른 하위요인은 다시 구체화되었다. 선천적요인인 무용체격의 하위요인은 신장, 체중, 상지와 하지의 길이와 비례, 정렬, 발 형태 등의 무용적정체격 평가요인으로 구성되었고, 무용체력은 유연성, 순발력, 평형성 등의 무용적정체력 평가요인으로, 무용성향은 표현성, 자신감, 과제지속성, 몰입성의 무용적성 평가요인으로 검사문항이 구성되었다. 이어 후천적 요인인 무용동작기술성 중 동작 그 자체의 기술성은 시제성, 조형성, 조력성, 조화성의 평가요인이, 그리고 무용동작예술성은 심미성과 독창성의 평가요인으로 압축되었다. 이는 측정도구 예비문항 중 실제 전문가의 무용수행능력 평가 상황을 통해 문항신뢰도와 타당도가 확보된 문항만을 추출하여 본검사 문항을 제작한 것이다.

본 연구결과는 일차적으로는 무용수의 무용동작수행능력에 대한 새로운 관점을 제시함으로써 무용동작과 무용수행능력에 대한 과학적 이해를 도모하고, 응용적으로는 무용수의 동작수행능력을 신뢰롭고 타당하게 평가할 수 있는 명확한 기준(준거)과 구체적인 방법에 대한 지침을 제공함으로써 무용교육 및 공연현장에서 무용수를 선발, 훈련, 통제 및 관리하는 데 적용하여 질적으로 고양된 무용공연 및 무용 교육 활성화에 기여할 이론적․경험적 토대를 구축하는데 그 목적이 있다.

This research is aims to develop dance performance ability test(DPAT) that is reliable and valid evaluation test of dance performance.
The definition of dance performance ability established through the review research and specialist consulting, in the factor of dance physique, dance fitness, dance disposition and dance movements skillfulness and dance movement artistic.

And, each factor, such as physique, fitness, disposition, movements skillfulness and artistic consisting of dance performance ability, is classified as the following detailed sub-factors.
The sub-factors of 'physique' as the innate element are composed of height, weight, length, proportion, and line-up of upper and lower body, and foot shape. For 'fitness' are composed of the factors of inflexibility, agility, and equilibrium. And 'disposition' are composed of expressiveness, self-confidence, and persistence.
The 'movement skillfulness' sub- factors as acquired element are consisted of temporal, formative and dynamic elements, while the 'movement artistic' factors are consisted of aesthetics and creativeness.

The test questionnaire is expected to offer a guideline for an unequivocal standard(or principle) and concrete method to make a reliable and valid evaluation on dance performance ability. Furthermore, it is deemed to lay the foundation for securing a fair evaluation of performance ability in dance-related entrance exams and dance competitions.
