아동학대에 관한 연구 = A study on research trends in child abuse and neglect in Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper provided a review of literature in the area of child abuse and neglect in Korea. In particular, the paper focused on understanding the research trends of child abuse and neglect by evaluating 229 articles published in Korean, 2000~2012, on the basis of academic areas, research topics, methodological approaches, and research participants.
The study found that major research methods were quantitative research-qualitative research; however, theoretical approaches and conceptual studies on child abuse and neglect were almost none. In quantitative researches, survey studies of children and adolescents were dominantly used. In qualitative researches, interview and case study methods were mainly applied. According to research topics, examining causal relationship, association, or effects of child abuse and neglect- the survey of characteristics and conditions of child abuse and neglect- intervention/therapy program development and evaluation-law/administration/policy issues regarding child abuse and neglect- the development of child abuse and neglect measure were dominant in order. On the basis of the outcomes of the study, it was suggested that theoretical studies and conceptual papers be developed more and academic efforts be cooperated with the field agencies and Administration of child abuse and neglect in Korea.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 국내에서 발표된 주요 학술지 연구논문을 대상으로 아동학대 연구의 동향을 학문영역, 연구접근방법, 연구주제, 그리고 연구참여를 기준으로 분석함으로써 한국 아동학대 연구의 방향과 특성을 파악하는 데 있다. 연구대상은 2000년부터 2012년 기간 동안 게재된 학술논문 가운데 제목과 주제어 목록에 아동학대가 포함한 229편의 연구논문을 분석하였다.
분석결과, 한국의 아동학대 연구는 양적연구-질적연구-선험적연구․개관연구 순으로, 양적연구에서는 서베이조사를 위주로, 질적연구에서는 면접 및 사례분석을 주로 활용하고 있었다. 반면, 아동학대에 관한 이론 개발이나 척도 개발은 거의 이루어지지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 주제별로는 인과관계, 실태․현황, 개입효과 순으로 연구물의 축적이 이루어졌으며, 연구참여자는 일반 아동․청소년을 대상으로 분석한 연구가 절반 이상을 차지하고 있었다. 따라서 아동학대 연구의 발전을 위해서는 한국사회의 사회문화적 특성을 반영한 아동학대 이론 및 척도 개발, 학계와 정부, 아동학대 실천현장과의 유기적 연계협력을 기반 한 연구 활성화를 제언하고자 한다.
