국립공원의 관광객 이용행태에 관한 연구 : 설악산ㆍ지리산 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 관광객의 욕구충족에 가장 적합하다고 말할 수 있는 종합 관광휴양 목적지인 전국 20여 개의 국립공원 중에서 특히 관광객들의 선호도가 비교적 높게 나타나고, 이용행태가 다양한 설악산 국립공원과 지리산 국립공원을 대상으로 관광객의 이용행태를 분석하여, 보다 효율적으로 국립공원을 운영 및 관리할 수 있는 방안에 관하여 모색해 보고자 한다.
현재 국립공원 운영에서 드러나는 여러 가지 문제점을 살펴보아 그에 대한 개선방향을 제시함으로써 효율적으로 국립공원을 운영 및 관리 할 수 있는 방안을 모색하는데 그 연구 목적이 있다.
본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위한 구체적인 세부목표는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 관광객 이용행태의 이론을 통해 관광객 행동의 개념과 관광행태의 개념에 대하여 살펴본다.
둘째, 국립공원에 관한 이론적 고찰을 통해 국립공원의 개발과 국립공원 지정에 대하여 살펴본다.
셋째, 국립공원의 관광객 이용행태를 분석하고 선행연구를 살펴봄으로써, 실증분석의 근거로 삼는다.
넷째, 이론연구와 실증분석을 토대로 설악산·지리산 국립공원의 관광객 이용행태를 살펴보고, 국립공원 운영과 관리에 따른 문제점과 개선방향을 제시한다.
국립공원에 대한 위상은 관리자뿐만 아니라 이용자들도 다함께 노력해야만이 바로 설 수 있다고 본다.
이용자 스스로는 자연을 애호하고 아끼는 마음으로 국립공원을 관광해야 한다. 이렇게 되기 위해서는 국립공원에 대한 국민의식의 전환이 있어야 한다. 특히 분산 이용변화를 유도하고 촉진시키기 위해서는 놀이문화가 정착되어야 한다.
우리나라 국립공원의 자연환경조건, 이용가능면적, 이용자의 사회적 특성 등이 조사와 같이 동일하지 않으므로 각 국립공원의 실정에 맞는 연구의 축적이 필요하며 이것을 자료 삼아 국립공원 이용객행태의 철저한 분석과 수용능력에 맞는 대처방안이 결정되어야 할 것이다.
이 실증분석 결과를 토대로 현 지정된 20여 개 국립공원의 자연 환경조건, 이용가능 수용 면적 및 이용자의 사회적인 특성을 잘 파악하여 계절별, 요일별 등의 관광객 이용행태에 따른 수용을 파악하여 관광 인프라 관광시설 확보, 인력투입, 시설의 보완 등의 효과적인 국립공원의 운영 및 관리 할 수 있는 방안이 모색되어 국립공원이 국민관광 발전에 기여하며 모든 국민에게 관광기회를 균등하게 제공되도록 이용체계화가 효율적으로 이루어 질 수 있도록 해야한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is to find a way to control and maintain the National Park
effectively, with analyzing the tourist's style who visit Soraksan Mt. National Park and Chirisan Mt. National Park to which is preferred among the 20 or more suitable resorts(National Parks) for sightseeing and relaxation in the nation. The purpose of this study is to suggest the improvement of the problems in maintaining the National Park nowadays for finding a way to control and maintain the National Park effectively.
The detail target to fulfill the purpose is as followed.
1. Review the conception of the behavior of the tourist and style of sightseeing in reference to the theory of the tourist style.
2. Review the development of the National Park and the assignment of the National Park in reference to the theory of the National Park.
3. Make a foundation of an actual proof with analyzing the tourist's style and reviewing the pre-study.
4. Suggest the improvement of the problems in maintaining the National Park with analyzing the behavior of the tourist who visit Soraksan Mt., Chirisan Mt. as a base of the theory of the tourist style and analyzation.
The prestige of the National Park will be established by not only managers but tourists. Tourists sightsee the National Park with a love and an affection to the nature.
To get this goal, it is necessary to have a turning point in our mind. Especially it needs a settlement of cultural strategy of amusement to get a use dispersion. As the condition of natural circumstances, the capable area, the social peculiarity of the tourist for the National Park is not the same as the research, it needs accumulations of studies for each National Park first, and the strategy of capacity of the National Park should be made by analyzing the tourist's style, accumulations of studies mentioned.
We should make a policy which leads effective uses of the National Park such as establishment of sightseeing infra facilities, usage of manpower, supplement of facilities and so on, which leads equal chances to visit the National Park, which leads contributions to develop the National Park, which is made by analyzing the tourist's styles by the season, by the day of week, and analyzing the capacity, the natural condition of the National Park in base of result of the actual proof of studies about 20 or more National parks which assigned until now.
