      The 3D printing is the core task in the 3 yeat economy innovation plan and has been one of the representative technologies of ``4th Industrial Revolution`` and is being studied as the technology that has unlimited possibility to lead the 3rd industry revolution. In this study, there are many research tasks such as performance of 3D printer, material, design, technology patent, quality management and etc for the 3D printing industrial development but is expecting that 3D printing technology will bring much change to the industrial environment and consumption culture. Also, it is seen that 3D printing will set its foot as the manufacturing technology possessing manufacturing competitive predominance and creating customer value in certain field. Therefore, this study is trying to study on the development method of the 3D printing industry through 3D printing technology development, forecase of industrial development process and domestic and overseas industry technology trend of 3D printing. It is proper for companies to start 3D printing industry in the field that can revive each strength as new demand can be created any time by certain needs of certain consumer group. For example, it is sufficient to aim for early stage application field that can provide indirect experience to many consumers such as cultural contents, education, medical field etc and there is expectancy of high education effect and response in the field of science, history, architecture, anatomy etc. that can educate using the 3D printer using method along with the academic application method. In short, 3D printing need to activate industrial business model through contents development, system establishment and design combination.
