This research was conducted to develop Blended Action Learning Program to improve the team competence in an art instruction at U College. The core idea of the team competence in an art instruction as “what to teach” and Blended Action Learning as “how to teach” were derived from a literature survey and a case study. Based on the activities, core learning guidelines were prepared and learning supporting components to assist student`s learning processes were deduced. Blending strategy in accordance with the entire program was established. The first version of program blueprint was modified and complemented through the experts` formative evaluation and transformed into a form of complete program. The implication was obtained by applying the program to the work. As a result of the research, the team competence in the college art class was analyzed as a searching competence, an expression competence and an appreciation competence in the art field and its elements were analyzed as a team knowledge, a team skill and a team attitude. The core idea matrix of college art instruction was derived from the result of the research. According to this matrix, the core class activity was constructed as 10 stages. And then learning supporting components for a facilitator and a learner were prepared for each process. Established blending strategy was created based on all-line, how to teach and learning supporting organization. Final program was suggested as a blueprint for 10 stages` actual learning which was consisted of a introductory learning part, an main learning part and a post learning part. The implication of research was derived from the analysis of data gathered from actual application of the program in a real instructional setting.
