현대문학분야 연구업적의 평가 : 현대문학연구의 학적 구축을 위하여 Toward the Constrution of Korean Modern Literary Study as a Science = The Evaluation in the Field of Korean Nodern Literary Study

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Even today, Korean modern literary study doesn't stand out as a science inspite of quantitative expansion. Why? Mainly due to the confusion of literary study and literary criticism. To avoid it, the former which has usually followed the latter had better investigate the latter on the contrary. Perhaps this is the starting point of the construction of a science. So impartial evaluation of the results is a serious question. First of all, the general standard which is laid more stress on papers than books must be reconsidered. And only the papers which are printed in the academic journals authorized by Korea Research Foundation are estimated highly. But it's based on the fulfillment of the formal items. The quality of a paper must be evaluated adequately.
Secondly, the problem of international journals. Suddenly the list of A&HCI stands in the footlight. The submission to the West originated from the department of (natural) sciences and engineerings is sweeping over the department of humanities, and the Koreanology at last. Asking to examine ourselves, we make a hurry to publish international journals of Korean Literature in Korea.
