金逌根과 金正喜의 交遊 및 書畵活動 = On the Friendship, Painting and Calligraphic works of Kim Yu-guen and Kim Jeung-hui

국문 초록 (Abstract)

김정희는 학문과 예술에서 19세기를 대표하는 인물이다. 그리고 그의 친구 김유근은 19세기를 대표하는 勢道家 安東金門의 중심인물이다. 이 두 집안의 관계는 결코 우호적이지 않았다. 김정희와 그의 부친 김노경이 안동 김문에 의해 流配의 고초를 겪었기 때문이다. 그럼에도 김유근과 김정희는 어려서부터 石交로 불릴만큼 단단한 우정을 과시하였다. 이들의 교유에는 정치적 得失과 인물의 是非가 배제되었다. 오로지 ‘商略古今’과 ‘品評書畵’ 만이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 이들의 교유를 ‘商略古今’과 ‘品評書畵’라는 측면에서 살펴보았다. 아울러 이들의 교유에는 늘 서화가 수반되었다. 김정희는 김유근을 위해 글씨를 써주곤 했으며, 김유근은 김정희를 위해 그림을 그려주었다. 이들의 교유는 김정희의 제주도 유배기간에 김유근의 죽음으로 끝이 났지만, 두 사람의 문집이 김유근의 甥姪인 南秉吉의 손에 정리되는 기인한 인연이 이어졌다. 이들의 우정 속에서 피어난 서화활동은 19세기 문화에 활력을 불어넣어주었다는 점만으로도 주목할 만하다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Kim Jeung-hui was a representative scholar of academic study and art in 19th centuries. Kim Yu-guen, his friend, was a key man of Andong Kim family in power. Although their friendship, two Kim famalies did not have a friendly attitude. Kim No-gyeong and Kim Jeung-hui were exiled by Andong Kim family. But two Kims shared a lifelong friendship because the political gains and losses were excluded in their relation. Only the thinking the ancient and modern ages, and evaluating paintings and calligraphic works were the subject of friendship. This thesis examined their friendship as a kind of the thinking the ancient and modern ages, and evaluating paintings and calligraphic works. Kim Jeung-hui did calligraphic works for Kim Yu-guen, Kim Yu-guen did painting for Kim Jeung-hui. Their realation was ended by Kim Yu-guen’s death during the other Kim’s exile in Jeju island, but their connection was continued by Nam Byeong-gil’s publishing each collection of literary works of them. The paintings and calligraphic works come out from their friendship put the vitality in the 19th century culture.
