The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between participation physical speciality and aptitude of middle school and adaptation of school life. Firstly, the difference of adaptation of school life by the socio-demographic characteristics of middle school. Secondly, the difference of adaptation of school life of the participation yes or no physical speciality and aptitude of middle school. The subjects of this study was selected by stratified cluster random sampling of involvement(male 334, female 260) in middle School.
The survey questionnaires were used to collect the data. The questionnaire for the formalization factor of adaptation of school life by You(l994). The statistical methods such as one-way ANOVA, analysis of covariance, multiple classification analysis were used to analyze the collected data. From the analyses of the data, the study reached the following conclusions: Firstly, adaptation of school life partially different by the socio-demographic characteristics of middle school, there are sex, teacher relation, friend relation, school rule were higher male than female, there are academic year, friend relation, school rule were higher one year than two year, there are income, friend relation, school rule were higher over 3million won than under 3million won. But lesson were under 2million won than under 3million won. Secondly, adaptation of school life partially different by the physical speciality and aptitude participation yes or no of middle school. that is, there are teacher relation, friend relation, school rule, adaptation of school life is higher physical speciality and aptitude participation than non-participation.
