어머니의 자녀성숙행동기대와 유아기 자녀의 정서지능, 만족지연능력, 친사회적 행동 간의 관계 = The Relationships among Mothers` Demands for Their Preschoolers` Mature Behavior, Preschoolers` Emotional Intelligence, Delay of Gratification Ability, and Pro-social Behaviors

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among mothers` demands for their preschoolers` mature behavior, preschoolers` emotional intelligence, delay of gratification ability, and pro-social behaviors. The subjects for this study were 172 mothers and their preschoolers whose enrolled in 4 kindergartens in Gyoung-Sang provinces. Mothers were asked to complete a questionnaire that assess their demands for the preschoolers` mature behavior and teachers responded to the questionnaire that assess the preschoolers` emotional intelligence, delay of gratification ability and prosocial behaviors. The results were as follows: First, there were significant correlations among the mothers` demands for their preschoolers` mature behavior, preschoolers` emotional intelligence, delay of gratification ability and pro-social behaviors respectively. Second, there was a significant difference in the preschoolers` delay of gratification ability according to their the levels of emotional intelligence. Third, there was a significant interaction effect in the preschoolers` pro-social behaviors according to the levels of mothers` demands for their preschoolers` mature behavior and the levels of preschoolers` emotional intelligence.
