This study analyzes panel data from 2000 to 2018 in 34 countries across Asian, Europe, America and Oceania continents to verify if the hallyu(Korean Wave) could have a promotion effect on Korea's exports. The study uses cultural product export as index of hallyu. A ‘Youtube search volume’ is also used a hallyu variable with hallyu related key words from 2008 to 2018. Furthermore, a gravity model and fixed effect model are used to make the analysis more significant. In separated data set between hallyu and control variables, control variables showed very significant correlation with Korean export. For hallyu variables, both cultural product and Youtube variables had a positive correlation but showed less significance with less number of observances and independent variables. However, in the result of total data set including all variables, hallyu variables and Korea's export showed positive correlation robustly. In addition, Youtube which is the resent trend in terms of ways to experience other cultures, had a higher correlation than cultural product, which is reversed result compared with data set without control variables. But still with its small number of observances, the Youtube variable had the highest standard error compared with other variables but still kept 90-95%.
