``Liuyi (六藝)`` and ``Six Classics(六經)`` are the important contents in the educational history of ancient China. ``Liuyi`` include li (禮), yue (樂), she (射), yu (御), shu (書), shu (數) and 『shi 詩』, 『shu 書』, 『li 禮』, 『yue 樂』, 『yi 易』, 『chunqiu 春秋』. In general, the latter is called ``Six Classics`` too. To distinguish Liuyi from Six Classics, Six Classics mean Six Books of Scripture, while Liuyi mean li (禮), yue (樂), she (射), yu (御), shu (書), shu (數) in addition to those Six Books of Scripture. The titles of ``Liuyi``, as seen from 『zhouli 周禮』, have been the major contents of the study of culture and heritage of the country in the era of Western Zhou (西周). Nevertheless, owing to the social circumstance at that time, it was the trend that a literary man rather than a warrior is given warm reception. And then naturally Liuyi-oriented education that aimed at cultivating the warrior good at art changed into the education of 『shi 詩』, 『shu 書』, 『li 禮』 『yue 樂』, 『yi 易』, 『chunqiu 春秋』, that is, Six Classics, since the private school course established by Confucius. This study is intended to examine how the title of ``Liuyi`` that are used in a mixed manner with Six Classics and the education of ``Liuyi`` that mean six accomplishments are composed of, and explore their implications. Accordingly in this study, the contents of education in detail concerning li (禮) and yue (樂), from the aspect of cultivation of emotion, she (射) and yu (御) as military drill, and shu (書) and shu (數) as the method of increasing knowledge have been reviewed.
