      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      As one of the branches of social science to understand political phenomenon, political science aims at growing people to democratic citizens who will correctly perceive political phenomenon. In terms of political education currently carried out in and out of schools, there are limitations partially in growing citizens who have citizenship required by democratic society today. Accordingly, it requires to develop and complement new directions, contents and methodology of political education to direct at democracy and have people play a role of democratic citizen. It may be apparently impossible to make the coexistence of ‘academic requirements as social science’ in political science and the purpose of‘social behavior’in political education. Nevertheless, political science may contribute to improving political accomplishments, participation and internalization of democratic values as necessary to participate in politics in democratic society as political education seeks based on the principles of political science from the points of view, the political and social realization. For this purpose, when political knowledge is delivered through ``teaching methodology paradigm shift(reducing process)`` and ``curriculum per level``, its educational value and meaning will be ensured as political education.
