달크로즈 유리드믹스를 활용한 음악활동이 유아기 음악성 향상에 미치는 효과 = The Effects of Music Activity Using Dalcroze Eurhythmics on Infant Musicality Improvement

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 달크로즈 유리드믹스를 활용한 음악활동이 유아의 음악성 향상에 미치는 효과를 알아보고 달크로즈 교수법이 유아교육 현장에서 음악성 향상에 효과적인 음악교육방법으로 활용될 수 있는지를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 연구의 대상은 대전광역시에 위치한 J유치원의 만5세반 유아 각 15명씩 총 30명이며, 이 중 15명을 실험집단, 15명을 비교집단으로 구성하였다. 실험집단에는 음악개념에 기초한 달크로즈 유리드믹스 음악활동을 6주간 실시하였고, 비교집단에는 교육과정에 따른 음악활동을 진행하였다. 연구도구는 성신여대 현경실 교수가 개발한 어린이 음악적성 검사(Kids MAT)를 사용하여 유아의 음악성을 측정하였다. 연구 결과, 유리드믹스를 활용한 음악활동을 경험한 유아들이 교육과정에 따른 음악활동을 받은 유아들보다 음악성 향상에 유의미한 차이를 나타내었다. 이는 달크로즈 유리드믹스 교수법이 유아의 음악성 향상에 효과적인 음악교육이라고 할 수 있으며 이에 달크로즈 교수법이 유아교육기관의 교육과정에 활용되면 음악성 향상 및 음악개념 습득에 효율적인 교육이 될 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of music education using Dalcroze Eurhythmics on infant musicality improvement. The research questions were as follows: 1. What are the effects of music education using Dalcroze Eurhythmics on infant musicality improvement? 1) What are the effects of music education using Dalcroze Eurhythmics on infant auditory improvement? 2) What are the effects of music education using Dalcroze Eurhythmics on infant rhythmic improvement? 2. Is there any improvements on expression ability of infants after music education using Dalcroze Eurhythmics? The subjects of this study were 30 members of 5-years-old children who were attending "J" kindergarten in Daejeon. They were divided into two groups of the experimental and control with 15 members of each group. The experimental group received music education using Dalcroze Eurhythmics for 6 weeks, while the controlled group received regular music lesson in syllabus. To measure the infant musicality improvement, Kids Music Aptitude Test(MAT) produced by Hyun Kyung-Sil was used. For validating the results of MAT, the ANCOVA was adopted to analyze the differences of two groups. Also, from the case study with Dalcroze Eurhythmics, It was certified that children were participated more actively in music activities, and understood more easily to the musicality, musical sensitivity and music concepts. The results of this study are as follows: There were differences between the two groups in musicality improvement. The experimental group which received music education using Dalcroze Eurhythmics showed the higher Kids Music Aptitude Test score than the controlled group. Therefore we suggest that the music education using Dalcroze Eurhythmics had positive effects on infant musicality improvement and it will be effective teaching methods for practical application at infant educational facilities.
