It is important the study on the theory of pro-Japanese literature to build up the history of Korean modern literature.
Pro-Japanese literature is based on the colonial policy of Japan, forcing korean writers to write works in Japanese, making obey to the imperiallism and justitng the aggressive war.
As a result, in order to survive Korean writers used to be compelled to the colonial policy.
Besides, unfortunately some of them tried to develop the theory of the imperiallism, and finally became the traitors to the history of the korean literature.
