The purpose of this study was to examine characteristics of Anti-Korean Wave by identifying components of Anti-Korean Wave. Specifically, this study developed the measurement scales of Anti-Korean Wave to identify sub-dimensions and scale items. For this study, Anti-Korean Wave was identified as `negative perception and feeling of Korean Wave in countries that consume the Korean entertainment` by studying on the documents, news reports and articles published by the academic. To research the sub-dimensions and scale items of Anti-Korean Wave, two round of pilot tests and main test were conducted by Chinese university students. Data used in main test were collected from survey with a structured questionnaire. This study surveys 146 Chinese students at university of Wu-Han in China. The initial 33 driver factor items were reduced by to four factors(cultural antipathy, contents antipathy, Marketing antipathy, social political antipathy) and twelve items through the descriptive statistics, reliability analysis and exploratory factor analysis in twice. Applying confirmatory factor analysis to data, 4 constructs was analyzed with AMOS. In this process, convergent validity and discriminant validity were evaluated by calculated AVE and nomological validity revealed in accordance with `degree of friendliness in Korea. As results of process of validation, convergent validity and discriminant validity are ensured but nomological validity was partly supported.
