다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract) kakao i 다국어 번역

This work sets out to analyze the actual state of arrangement of welfare facilities for the elderly and the arrangement characteristics of Life Support Houses for the elderly in depopulated regions of Oita Prefecture, Japan. Average population of 19 towns and villages in depopulated Regions is 3,386, and the average ratio of population of 65 years and over is 33.0 percent. According to the survey results, it was found that in these depopulated Regions, there had been no previous case of modern welfare facilities before Life Support Houses were established in 1990.
Essentially, function of Life Support Houses can be classified into three main group: residence, day service and neighborhood communication. However, the survey results clearly shows that no more than 6 out of 20 facilities have neighborhood communication function. There are three zoning types of residence and day service: housed in one building, in two separate buildings, or on different floors in a building. These zoning types can be divided again into independent or annex types, depending on the annexation presence. The major annex facilities are home care support centers, local welfare centers and clinics.
