성역할 인식 및 태도가 보육서비스 정책 만족도에 미치는 효과에 관한 연구 = The Effect of Perception of Gender Role on Policy Satisfaction in Child Care

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In previous research, satisfaction studies have focused on elderly care services. Particularly, the relationships between care givers and clients, types of services and features of providers and their services are major topics of investigation. However, there were not many examination about the policy satisfaction in terms of both husbands and wives` perception of gender role and its effect. This study emphasized the effect of perception of gender role on child care policy satisfaction. Through a statistical analysis of 250 households survey data, this study explores how the perception of gender?either comtemporary or conventional view influences the level of satisfaction on child care services. The results indicated that the perception make different care labors among husbands not wives and overall satisfaction of the services were high in wives. In addition, both husbands and wives with nontraditional views on gender role had higher level of satisfaction on the policy than couples with traditional perspectives. In sum, this study pointed out the needs of sophisticated policy designing efforts to increase the satisfaction level of child care services and governmental intervention to enhance the role of women in Korea labor market.
