주민참여형 안전마을사업 전·후 거주민의 인식 및 행동의 변화 = 대구 달서구 안전마을 시범사업을 중심으로

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of the pilot project “resident-centered safe community from crime”, focusing on residents’ perceptions and behaviors to safety and sense of community in Dalseogu, Daegu. Survey questionnaires were designed to compare before and after the project and total 92 surveys were collected for analyses. Paired t-test results show that residents’ perceptions and behaviors have been changed in five aspects; First, the perception in relationship among residents become strengthen. Second, residents perceived police patrol activity by walk at nighttime much more frequently. Third, residents’ participation on crime prevention activity was increased. Forth, interests in community and other residents were also increased. Finally, satisfaction to community safety were increased. Results showed that making “resident-centered safe community from crime” is helpful to build safe community and to strengthen sense of community. This study will be useful source for urban policy makers to apply “resident-centered safe community from crime” to other communities.
