      The present study concerns an experiment on the heating and low temperature characteristics of a system A/C using a digital scroll compressor and BLDG inverter compressor. Under operation modes of the minimum, rated and maximum capacities and under the low temperature condition(-5℃, -10℃, -15℃), heating capacities and COPS for digital scroll system and BLDG inverter system are measured. From the experimental results, the COP of the system A/C using a digital scroll method is more effective than that of the inverter method at heating operation modes with the rated and maximum capacities, under heating standard condition. And under the low temperature condition, the system A/C using a digital scroll method compared with the inverter method have good heating capacity and high COP.
