신뢰와 사회적 가치지향이 사회적 딜레마상황에서 협동행동에 주는 영향 = The Effect of Trust and Social Value Orientation on Cooperative Behavior in Social Dilemma Situation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence on cooperative behavior by trust, social value orientation, fear, greed, and the belief in a just world. A questionnaire was preparedfor this goal, and answered by 185 university students. Based on the analysis of these data, following results are found; those people who trust other people cooperate. And those people who have a value orientation that is prosocial, also cooperate. Fear and greed have a negative effect on cooperative behavior. Trust and social value orientation were rooted in attachment, they were found to develop better when one experienced secure attachment. And trust is related to the relational self and the belief in just world. Those people who empathy with other people and believe that the world is just have strong trust on other people. The future study need to examine variables influencing trust and social value orientation's development.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

우리사회가 직면하고 있는 많은 문제들은 개인의 단기적 이익과 사회공동체의 집단적 이익이 상충하는데서 비롯된다. 본 연구는 개인과 집단의 이익이 상충하는 사회적 딜레마 상황에서 협동적 의사결정에 영향을 주는 요인을 밝히기 위한 탐색적 연구로, 타인에 대한 신뢰와 사회적 가치 지향(social value orientation), 탐욕(greed)과 두려움(fear), 정의로운 세상에 대한 믿음(just world belief)이 협동행동의 선택에 어떤 영향을 주는가를 살펴보았다. 결과는 타인에 대한 신뢰가 강할수록, 또 친사회적 가치지향을 지닌 사람일수록 사회적 딜레마 상황에서 협동 행동 쪽으로의 의사결정을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 이러한 신뢰와 사회적 가치지향의 형성에 애착(attachment)이 중요한 영향을 미친다고 가정하여 애착유형별로 신뢰와 사회적가치지향의 차이가 있는가를 검증하였다. 결과는 안정애착 유형일수록 타인에 대한 신뢰가 강하며 친사회적 가치지향을 갖고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 공정한 세상에 대한 믿음, 신뢰, 사회적 가치지향의 세변인간에도 관계가 있어서 타인에 대한 신뢰가 강한 사람일수록 우리가 살고 있는 세상이 정의롭다고 믿으며 친사회적 가치지향의 유형이 많은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 이러한 변수들 간의 관계를 밝히기 위한 탐색적 연구로 이후의 연구에서는 사회적 딜레마 상황을 좀더 구체적이고 현실적인 것으로 조작하여 연구를 수행할 필요가 있으며 신뢰와 사회적 가치지향 형성에 영향을 주는 변인들에 대해 좀더 심층적인 연구가 필요하다. 이와 관련하여 논의를 전개하였다.
