기억의 재응고화와 역사적 외상의 서사적 시멘트 ― ‘오월 광주’ 서사의 치유 기전에 관하여 ― = Reconsolidation of Memory and Narrative Cement of Historical Trauma ― On the Therapeutic Mechanism of ‘May Gwangju’ Narratives ―

국문 초록 (Abstract)

충격적 경험으로 인한 외상은 기억의 회로를 교란하여 온전한 인지 수행을 방해한다. 외상 후 극심한 스트레스 상태에서 부적응 행동을 유발하여 심각한 위기를 조장하여 문제다. 이러한 증후군에 대한 처방과 처치는 왜곡된 형태로 무의식 저층에 응고된 기억을 들추어 그 진면을 직면하게 하여 새로운 인지 도식으로써 경험을 재해석하는 것이다. 기억의 재응고화에 상응하는 이러한 처치를 통해 외상으로 인한 병적 증후를 치유할 수 있는 길이 열리는데, 그 주요 기전에 서사 요법이 활용된다. ‘오월 광주’에 관여된 인지 도식의 표제화는 5·18이라는 역사적 재난으로 야기된 개인적·사회적 외상의 기억을 재응고화하는 의미심장한 기전이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The trauma, due to the shocking experience, disturbs the circuit of the memory and interferes with normal cognitive performance. It would be problematic that the trauma causes crisis by the maladaptive behaviors in the extreme stress conditions. The prescription and treatment for these syndromes is to recover the experience in a new cognitive schema by rebuilding memories that are solidified in the unconscious low layer in distorted forms. These treatments, corresponding to the reconsolidation of memory, are the effective methods to heal the pathological symptoms due to trauma. The narrative therapy is utilized as a valid strategy for reconsolidation of memory involved PTSD. The title of the cognitive schema involved in ‘May Gwangju’ is a meaningful mechanism of resurrection of personal and social trauma that caused by a historical disaster of 5·18.
