일본 과소산촌에서의 지역 자치조직 재편과 주민자치 : 히로시마현 아키타카타시 이케쿠와 지구(広島縣 安芸高田市生桑地區)를 사례로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 지역 자치조직 재편이후 많은 과소지역이 주민자치에 있어 난항을 겪는 이유를 밝히고자 한다. 이를 위해서 일본 히로시마현 아키타카타시 이케쿠와 지구의 이케쿠와 진흥회를 대상으로 진흥회의 형성과정과 진흥회의 성격 및 역할, 그리고 전통취락의 성격과 역할을 고찰하였다. 주민자치를 위해서는 지역에 뿌리내려 활동해온 기초조직을 찾아내고 키워 나가야 할 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to find out reasons that many depopulated rural communities are facing difficulties in selfgovernance since reorganization of local autonomous organizations. In order to reach the aim, the research found formation process of the Ikekuwa Promoting Association, character and roles of the association, as well as character and roles of traditional villages through the case of the Ikekuwa Promoting Association in Ikekuwa District, Akitakata City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. To promote self-governance by local communities, it is necessary to discover endogenous self-organizations taking roots in local communities and empower them.
