한국의 소리 커뮤니케이션 = 풍물의 메시지

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study attempts to deal with the process of Korean sound communication in the Pungmul and its message. As the nonverbal communication, the sound communication of Pungmul is treated of the communication process for the both sides of communication partners, namely communicators and recipients. The communicators (players) of Pungmul derive the great(collective) joy(Daedongsinmyung) of the audience with inherent formation of four percussion instruments(a small gong, a large gong, a double-headed drum and a bass drum), with musically completed construction of putting out, heating, being tense and relaxing, with weaving of the ins and outs in the interaction of female gong and male gong and with dancing. As the recipient, the audience falls into empathy named great joy(Sinmyung) through the message of Pungmul. The message of Pungmul in the form of play appears as the sharing of joy and anger together with sorrow and pleasure of the people, and as the independent life training. And the message of Pungmul in the form of exorcism includes ideas of utopia, the deification of human being and the correspondence between sacredness and profaneness.
