    The conversion of 2d design to 3d in wood frame house market has become the task companies have and they must solve. Consumers who want to build a wood frame house require various and unique design for what they want to build. That trend makes it difficult for on-site employees to understand the design consumers want with 2d design. Numerous demands for that have naturally led companies to change their 2d design into 3d design, which is the problem companies should deal with by breaking their existing mold and framework. Even though a lot of software for 3d design have been released and many companies or architects have used them, it's still difficult to find the program useful and perfect like AutoCAD. We used to use 3d design program only for wood frame house, but we have decided to use AutoCAD because those 3d programs proved its elves that it doesn't work on complicated parts of 3d design.

    This treatise is intended to explain how to draw 3d external part of wood frame house by using AutoCAD which is mainly operated for 2D design. Autocad is a program considered to be troublesome since design becomes as complex as the progress of work, and it has a demerit that a user has to draw objectives separately in a out-of-date manner unlike other design programs, which means we have to spend more times drawing than other 3d programs. nevertheless, autocad could be the ideal program now that the more complicated design is, the less errors occur. According to two crucial point on drawing 3d appearance of wood frame house, this treatise has been written. One of the crucial points is the way to work rapidly and another is the way to work easily. The core of way to draw 3d design more easily and rapidly is to use design block. For that, analyzing the construction process of wood frame house, making design block in accordance with coherence and regularity of materials spent, and designing appearances of wood frame house by using these things are required.
    This treatise demonstrates the way to draw 3d design with design block, through 92m2 one floor wood frame house case as an example, And states how to make design block and the way to make Elevation View, Roof Plane View, Bird's-eye View and Section View with 3d design which is made before.
