고구려 첫 도읍 위치 비정에 관한 검토 = The review for presumption about the first capital of Goguryeo

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

According to records of ‘Gwanggaeto Stele(廣開土王陵碑)’ which was set in 414, the first capital of Goguryeo(高句麗) was ‘Holbon(忽本)’. According to the Chronicles of the Three states(三國史記) which was written in 1145, the first capital of Goguryeo is ‘Jolbon(卒本)’. Through these historical records, the first capital of Goguryeo is “Holbon” or “Jolbon”. The important question is where “Holbon” or “Jolbon” are. Now there is no settled opinion regarding this issue in the academic world. Of course, there is already basically formed a common perception about the local situation of the first capital of Goguryeo at the academic circles of archaeology and history, the common perception is “the first capital of Goguryeo was Huanrenxian(桓仁縣, Liaoning, China)”, this cognizance is the so-called ‘common view’ about the first capital of Goguryeo. The common view is closer to fact, but it exactly can not be called the exact historical fact. I have an opinion that an existing common view about the first capital of Goguryeo does not reflect for the historical facts about the first capital of Goguryeo. Contrariwise, I recognize that the common view is distorting the facts about the early Goguryeo history. Regarded from this point of view, this manuscript examines the formation process of the awareness about the first capital of Goguryeo, and critically examine the transition process of the awareness. In the text, through a comprehensive analysis of historical literatures, I will disclose the new fact that the Huanrenxian was not the first capital of Goguryeo.
