Marketing information system(MKIS) is one of the most critical issues facing marketing management side. Some firms have developed advanced marketing information system that provide company management with incredible up-to-date about buyer behaviors. Today, railroad management has also recognized the importance of the railroad marketing information system(RMKIS), and has emphasized the importance with its outside-inside point of view.
The purpose of this study is to organize the railroad marketing information system(RMKIS) theory which derives from marketing information system(MKIS) theory, and further to describe an empirical investigation of the relationship between external environments and effect variables of RMKIS,and then to develop the new RMKIS model.
