This research brings into focus the following topics ; how to understand the role of the education of the Korean language in promoting thinking ability at the primary school level children and how to construct the concrete contents of teaching materials.
children should be considered as ultimate agents who perceive the world through the logic of language. the linguistic education, one of the main components of the Korean language education, should be understood based upon the assumption that language acquisition is in itself the process of thinking. In other words, language, the fundamentals of all the thinking activities, should be dealt with for the purpose of forming the better thinking systems as well as teaching reading and writing.
In this paper, I will use methods as follows;
1) conceptual operations for the clarity of the relations between objects and language, and language and language
2) systematicity of thinking processes from words to writings
3) forms of dialogues as teaching strategies
4) methods of reasoning as thinking processes
