This study was to confirm the changes in cortisol and aldosterone according to the difference in endurance exercise period and exercise intensity in 18 female college students. control group(n=6) and exercise group(n=12) of two types were selected as experimental groups, and endurance exercise was performed 5 times a week for 12 weeks, and the results obtained are as follows.
1. Cortisol according to exercise period and exercise intensity showed a significant increase at 8 weeks (p<.01) and 12 weeks (p<.01) in both intensities of E.GI and E.GII.
2, Among the groups, cortisol showed significant differences between CG and E.GI and between CG and E.GI at 8 weeks (p<.01) and 12 weeks (p<.001).
Looking at the above results, it was found that an exercise period of at least 8 weeks and an exercise intensity of 55-70% of a maximum heart rate are required to cause changes in cortisol according to the exercise period and exercise intensity. Since the exercise period and exercise intensity of this study did not show any significant change in aldosterone, it is expected that future studies according to various exercise types are needed.
