    The major flow of Samguksagi(三國史記) Oksajo(屋舍條) is the regulation of architecture. And ``Dangwa``(唐瓦) is in there. Till now, various opinions were suggested on the true identity of dangwa such as ``maksaegiwa``, ``ammaksae`` and ``nokyoogiwa``. Recently, an opinion, which is quite close to the true identity of dangwa, has been suggested. This paper adds the statements on dangwa as seen in various literatures based on the study results till now. Janganjido(長安志圖) was authored by Yi Hao-wen(李好文) of Yuan(元) by complementing the Jananji(長安志) authored by Sung Min-qiu(宋敏求) of Sung(宋). It was possible to find a mention on dangwa in Janganjido. The explanation on dangwa in this literature is ``nokyoogiwa``. Nokyoogiwa is different from general roof tiles by having a function of decorating the outlook of a building by applying low-firing temperature glaze on roof tile. It was acknowledged as a representative luxurious building material because it requires lot of complicated effort to make. Such trend is also found in Joseon period. There is an article in Joseonwangjosillok(朝鮮王 朝實錄, Annals of the Joseon Dynasty) dissuading the manufacturing of dangwa to restrict luxurious trends. It implies that dangwa has close relation with luxury. It is in the same context of regulating article in Samguksagi Oksajo. Mentions on dangwa are also found in other literatures such as Seungjeongwon Ilgi(承政院 日記) and Mangiyoram(萬機要覽) . When all these situations in the literatures would be combined, it is clear that the true identity of dangwa is ``nokyoowa``. Though it is a bit difficult to use the name ``nokyoowa`` retroactively to ancient period, the name will continue to be used for the sake of communication within academic society.
