아동양육시설 청소년의 퇴소 후 생활에 대한 문화기술지 = An Ethnographic Study on the Experience of Adolescents after Discharge from Care Institution

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to understand the experience of adolescents after leaving care institutions. To accomplish this purpose, I collected various data from participants through in-depth interviews, observations, and documents, and analysed these data applying ethnographic approach. Specially, I focused on the participants' relationship with the institutions and other adolescents since they have maintained relationships with them and/or have lived with them after discharge. I inquired various areas of living and their meaning of experience. I found some areas of living-housing, job, livelihood, relationships, relationship with institution quite unique. As for the meaning of life, discharged adolescent is composed of experiencing stigma, experiencing discrimination, and hurt. Living experiences after discharge are associated with dramatic story of participants and memory of institution. Based on these results, I suggested political and practical implications are proposed.
