연기색상에 따른 연기감지기의 응답특성에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Response Characteristics of Smoke Detectors Based on the Smoke Color

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigates the response characteristics of smoke detectors based on the smoke colors. Experiments on whitepaper fires similar to the UL 268 real fire garden test, domestic-type approval reference tests, and black polyurethane foamand flammable liquid fire tests that did not undergo domestic-type approval were conducted to examine the responsecharacteristics of smoke detectors according to the smoke color. Consequently, all analog smoke detectors (ASDs) subjectedto the paper fire experiments, which generated white smoke, met the UL 268 operating conditions. However, in theflammable liquid and polyurethane foam fire experiments, which generated black smoke, none of the ASDs subjected tothe experiment met the UL 268 operating conditions. The total average error for the smoke concentration was measuredby the ASDs based on optical concentration ODM, and was found to be 24.54%/m in flammable liquid fires and 81.22% – –in polyurethane foam.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 연기색상에 따른 연기감지기의 응답특성에 관한 연구이다. 연기색상에 따른 연기감지기의 응답특성을관찰하기 위해 UL 268 실화재 시험화원 중 국내 형식승인 기준 화원과 연기색상이 유사한 백색계열의 종이화재 실험과 국내 형식승인에서 진행되고 있지 않은 연기색상인 흑색계열의 폴리우레탄폼화재 및 인화성액체화재를 대상으로 실험을 진행하였다. 연기색상에 따른 응답특성 확인결과 백색계열의 연기를 발생하는 종이화재의 경우 실험대상인 ASD 모두 UL 268 작동조건을 충족하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 흑색계열의 연기를 발생하는 인화성액체화재 및폴리우레탄폼화재의 경우 실험대상인 ASD 모두 UL 268 작동조건을 충족하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 광학농도계 ODM을 기준으로 아날로그 연기감지기 ASD에서 측정된 연기농도의 전체 평균오차의 경우 인화성액체화재에서 24.54 %/m, 전체 평균백분율오차의 경우 폴리우레탄폼화재에서 81.22%로 가장 크게 나타나는 것으로 확인되었다 – – .
