꽃 예술계의 학문적 발전 방안 모색 = Some Groping Approaches to the Successful Academic Achievement in Korea Floral Art Development

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Some essential approaches by Koreans in order to accomplish the development of floral art designing have been proposed herewith, and a concrete establishment of the unique expression and the future development of Korean floral art are envisaged to expect. Haying an academic Society of this kind, persistent exploration of new ideas and creative presentations of floral design must be executed and focused through the outstanding Society activites. The Society progress can be attained through the effort of developing new and yet creative design of Korean unique items of rather traditional background such plant materials as Korean azaleas, white forsythia, Korean golden bells, Abies koreana, Strwatia koreana, Pulsatilla koreana, etc. and with Korean traditional crafts as windows or door lattices, oxcart wheels, grain-pounding mortars, rice-cake pressers for patterning, potteries of either Koryo, Shilla, or Lee Dynasty era, so forth. We need international knowledge and exchange of floral art information and also need children's education and concern about publicizing the floral art, at least providing the young aged with sense of the beauty and attraction, because they at the earlier stage of age experience much more striking educational influence than the adults. All of these seem much to do with the development of Korean floral art now and in days to come.
