얄개담론에 대한 계보학적 접근|RISS 상세보기

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 1950년대부터 1960년대를 거쳐 1970년대 까지 소설과 영화로 만들어진 <얄개전>에 대한 담론분석이다. 분석을 위해 각각의 <얄개전>이 드러내고 있는 담론을 추출하였고, 그러한 담론이 만들어지는 외재적인 조건에 대하여 탐구하였다. 이를 통해 얄개는 단순히 웃음을 유발하는 텍스트가 아니며, 당대의 정치 사회적 맥락과 깊이 연관되어 있음을 알 수 있었다. 분석방법은 푸코의 담론분석방법을 사용하였다. 각 시대의 얄개를 당시의 사회적 맥락에 의해 형성된 담론이라 가정하고 언어로 표현된 대화를 언표로 규정하여 분석하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 1950년대의 명랑소설 <얄개전>은 ‘권위주의적 규율에 대한 저항’이라는 담론이 존재하며, 1965년의 영화 <얄개전>에는 ‘가족의 해체에 대한 두려움과 가난극복의 희구’라는 담론이 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러, 1970년대의 영화 <고교얄개>와 <얄개행진곡>은 당시의 정치적 상황을 고려한 ‘체제유지를 위한 지배담론의 생산’이라는특징이 나타났다. 결국 <얄개전>의 담론은 각 시대의 감정구조를 반영하며, 저항담론과 지배담론이라는 상이한 모습으로 존재함을 알 수 있었다. 동일한 콘텐츠임에도 시대적 변화에 따라 담론의 격차가 존재하게 되는 것은 <얄개전> 내부의 문제라기보다는 외재적 요인이 압도한 결과라는 점이 주목된다.

This article critically analyzes discourses of Yalgaegeon from 1950s novel to 1960s and 1970s films. In order to clarify the analysis, extract discourses of Yalgaegeon, the structure of feeling and external condition are studied. Also, the meaning of Yalgae since 1950s to 1970s are discussed with regard to the historical changes and diverse uses. In employing Foucauldian discourse analysis to the texts, the selected novel and films Yalgaegeon are analyzed as discursive formation, which emerged within the social relations of the era; the characters’ dialogues are analyzed as discursive statement. The analysis examines the discourses that the texts disseminated, and the social context of its utterance. It demonstrated that the novel and films Yalgaegeon are forms of representation, which implies ‘the resistance to the authoritarian discipline’ in 1950s, ‘the fear of family dissolution and desire for poverty overcome’ in 1960s, and ‘the production of ruling discourse to maintain the existing system’ in 1970s. In conclusion, the Yalgaegeon are rather texts that involve political and social context of the era than a mere novel or films.
