<속사씨남정기>의 성격과 교육적 함의 = The Characteristics of Soksassinamjeonggi and Its Educational Meanings

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper aims at investigating the characteristics of Soksassinamjeonggi and its educational meanings. Soksassinamjeonggi is the sequel of Sassinamjeonggi written by Kim, Man-jung in the 17th century. Soksassinamjeonggi is presumed to be written in the mid-18th century by obscure writer.
This work shows the affairs that Sa, Jeong-ok, the heroine of Sassinamjeonggi experiences in the next world. So this work consists of two stories. One is the process that she becomes the god, and the other is the event that she controls the jealous wives. The characters and incidents of these stories are related with those of Sassinamjeonggi. The author of this work accepted Sassinamjeonggi in the focus on woman's jealousy. Therefore it can be said that he wrote this work for estimating Sa, Jeong-ok's female virtues.
For writing the sequel precise analysis and personal comprehension of the original work are needed. So writing the sequel can cultivate the analytic and comprehensive abilities. And for writing the sequel the results of the analysis and comprehension of the original work must be taken narrative shape. Accordingly writing the sequel can develop the narrative shaping ability. We can find the concrete methods to raise these abilities in Soksassinamjeonggi. In this point we can find the educational meanings of this work.
I anticipate that this study can contribute to ascertain the related aspects of the original work and the sequel in Korean classical novels, and their educational meanings.
