斷面形狀에 따른 綱柱의 耐力 特性 = The Strength Characteristics of Steel Column by Structural Shape

The strength characteristics of steel columns by structural shape is a very important factor in high-rise building.
Square or circular tubing, because of its box shape, has many mechanical properties and other advantages : the great moment of inertia and modulus of section per unit area, well-balanced sectional performance in the X-Y direction, a large radius of gyration, great torsional rigidity and high resistance to bending force.
This paper, compares the section modulus and radius of gyration of a Tube section with that of the H-shaped steel with the same circumference and cross sectional area.
