북한사회의 변화와 동요의 흐름 －2원적 분화와 제2사회의 시각에서－ = The trend of transfomation and unrest in North korean Society : From the perspective of dualistic disruption and second society

국문 초록 (Abstract)

북한사회의 변화와 동요는 시간과 방법을 달리할 뿐 필연적 귀결이다. Hankiss 의“제2의 사회”개념을 적용한 서재진의 『또 하나의 북한사회』는 북한의 사회구조와 사회의식이 어떻게 변모하고 있는지를 분석한 것이며 이를 위해 북한의 계급구조를 포함한 사회구조, 북한 주민들의 인성, 직업관, 경제생활, 사회생활, 정치활 등의 측면에서 일상생활과 의식세계의 변화에 분석의 초점을 맞추고 아울러 북한 지도부가 이러한 사회변화에 대응하며 어떠한 지배이념과 사회 통합이데올로기를 개발하고 있는지 분석한다. 징 은 “북한사회의 2분법적 분화와 체제의 내구성”에서 1990년대 말 고난의 강행군 시기를 어떻게 극복하고 2원적 사회분화에도 불구하고 현 체제가 어떻게 유지되고 있는가를 규명한다. 이 글은 북한사회의 분화양상과 제2사회영역에 대한 억압과 통제에 관해서 두 저자의 시각이 어떻게 다른지를 1995년과 2015년도 시점에서 그 흐름을 특히, 90년대 북한에 자유화 바람이 조금만 들어오거나 의식의 변화가 생기면 비판의 화살이 김정일에게 미칠 것이라는 예견이 2015년 시점에서 어떻게 변화했는지를 검토한다.

Transformation and unrest in North korean society differs form and time period, but is inevitable. < Another North korean Society > by jae-Jin Suh, which applied the concept of `Second Society` as mentioned by Hankiss, is an analysis of how the social structure and consciousness of North Korea is changing. For this purpose, the focus of analysis has been set on the changes in daily life and their conscious world in the aspects such as social structure, including the class society of North Korea, the character, career values, economic life-style, social-life, political activity and so on. In addition, the study analyzes on how the North Korean leadership is responding to these social changes and which ideologies for control and social integration are being developed. zhao jing examines in his study. < Dichotomic Social Differentiation and Durability of regime in North Korea >, how the current system was able to be sustained despite the dualistic social disruption and survive through the Arduous March in the late 1990`s. This paper examines, in the perspective of 1995 and 2015, how the two authors differ in viewpoint on the suppression and control over the disrupting aspects of North Korean and the Second Society. This paper will focus on the comparison of Suh and zhao, regarding how the prediction in the 1990`s, which said the slightest wind of liberty or change in consciousness will cause the blame to be pointed towards Kim Jong-Il, changed in the perspective of 2015.
