To study the fetal development in swine at 10 days interval from 20 to 110 days of gestation, 1 to 4 sows were treated and 11 to 52 fetuses were obtained each time, and number of implanted and alive fetus, fetal survival rate, fetal body weight and body weight gain, body length and umbilical cord length were measured. The average number of fetus implanted was 17.6 and was not affected by the days of gestation, but the number of alive fetus and survival rate of fetus was decreased as pregnancy progressed. The number of implanted & alive fetus were almost the same in both utrine borns. The weight of fetus was significantly increased as the pregnancy developed, especially after 60 days of gestation and the weight change at every 10 day was also increased but the body weight increasing rate was decreased. In addition average daily gain of fetus, the length of fetus & umbilical cord were increased as the pregnancy developed.
