Having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law commandment contained in ordinances, through the cross, thereby puttings to death enmity.
Having wiped out the handwritting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us, And He has taken it out the way, having naild it to the cross.
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
"For if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain."
What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator.
You observe days and months and seasons and years. I am afraid for you, lest I have labored for you in vain.
You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
Therefore let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths.
Concerned only with foods and drinks, various washings, and fleshly ordinances imposed until the time of reformation.
Days Adam
So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
"declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient time things that are not yet done, saying, 'My counsel shall stand, and will do all My pleasure'
Days Noah
"But as the days of Noah were, so also will the comming of the Son of Man be." For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marring and giving in marringe, until the day that Noah entered the ark," and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the son of Man be.
So He destroyed all living things which were on the face of the ground: both man and cattle, creeping thing and bird of the air. They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah and those who were with him in the ark remained alive. And the waters prevailed on the earth one hundred and fifty days.
They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months, And their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. In those dats men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will fiee from them.
Days of Moses
'Do you want to kill me as you did the Egyptian yesterday?'
"Then God turned and gave them up to worship the host of heaven, as it written in the book of the Prophets: 'Did you offer Me salughtered animals and sacrifices during forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
So the LORD sent fiery serprnts among the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people of Israel died. Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, "We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD and against you; pray to the LORD that He take away the serpents from us." So Moses prayed for the people. Then the LORD said to Moses, "Make a flery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live," So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.
"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must he Son of Man be lifted up," that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
Days of Jesus
"Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, One jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
"Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bting peace but a sword. "For I have come to 'set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.' "And 'a man's foes will be those of his own household.'
"These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their hear is far from Me. 'And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men."
But He answered and said, "I was not sent except to the lost of the house of Israel."
"And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
But Jesus did that which having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.
Days of Grace
Beware lest anyone chest you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.
Days of Tribute
"However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says: 'Heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool. What house will you build for Me? says the LORD. or what is the place of My rest? 'Has My hand not made all these things?'
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will their God, and they shall be My people."
But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
