생활체육참가자 스포츠가치관에 미치는 영향 = The Influence of Sport Activity Participation on the View of Values in Sport

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to explore the influence of participation in sport activity as essential element of life on the view of values in sport.
More specifically, this study was to analyze the difference of the view of values in sport between participants and non-participants and the influence on degree of participation in sport activity(frequency, endurance, intensity) by investigating the influences on the subordinate variables of the values in sport: economic value, social value, recreational value, aesthetic value, character value and physical value.
The subiects of this study who were sampled were 945 male and female adults who lived in Seoul using stratified cluster sampling and PPS(probability proportionate to size) sampling method. The data collected by questionnaire that was designed for this study consisted of responses to items constructed to represent each variable.
The questionnaire for this study used Moon(1999)'s questionnaire that transformed from value division model of Evarett(1962) was verified through reliability and validity and designed to answer the questions with self-administrated method. Statistics employed in this study were t-test, multiple correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis.
Based on the procedures and results, the following conclusions were warranted:
First, there is a difference in the view of value in sport between the participants and non-participants, More specifically, The participants reveal higher social, recreational, and aesthetic value in sport than non-participants.
Second, the degree of sport participation has infuenre on the view of values More specifically, the frequency, endurance, and intensity of sport participation has influence on recreational value in sport. And also, only the frequency participation variable has influence on aesthetic value, character value and physical value.
