세계유산교육의 연구 및 실천 동향과 최근 쟁점 = The Research Trend and Current Issues in World Heritage Education

국문 초록 (Abstract)

유네스코(UNESCO)는 탁월한 보편적 가치(OUV: Outstand Universal Value)를 가진 문화유산 및 자연유산을 세계유산목록에 등재시키고 보호·보 존하기 위해 노력하고 있다. 그 노력의 일환으로 세계유산교육이 등장하였다.
세계유산교육은 세계유산을 보호·보존하기 위한 ‘목적으로서의 세계유산교 육’과 세계유산을 교육적 소재로 활용하는 ‘방법으로서의 세계유산교육’으로 분류할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 목적으로서의 세계유산교육을 첫째, 세계유 산의 교육적 가치, 둘째, 세계유산의 교육 콘텐츠화, 셋째, 세계유산을 위한 교육 프로그램에 대한 연구로 분류하고, 방법으로서의 세계유산교육을 첫째, 현장체험학습 장소로서의 세계유산교육, 둘째, 교과 교육 소재로서의 세계유 산교육, 셋째, 가치 교육의 매개로서의 세계유산교육으로 나누어 선행 연구를 고찰하였다. 세계유산은 풍부한 교육적 가치를 가지고 있지만 학교 현장 에서 다양하게 활용되지 못하고 있다. 이에 세계유산교육을 교육과정에 반영 하고자 세계유산교육의 최근 연구동향과 주요 쟁점을 살펴보았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

UNESCO is trying to list on and protect the world cultural and natural heritage which has Outstanding Universal Value. A way of these efforts, World Heritage Education(WHE) has started. WHE can be divide to ‘WHE as a purpose’ and ‘WHE as a means’. ‘WHE as a purpose’ is intended to protect World Heritage and ‘WHE as a means’ uses World Heritage as a means in the curriculum. This study considers precedent studies of WHE. In this study, ‘WHE as a purpose’ is categorized as Educational Value of WHE, Developing Educational Contents for WHE or Educational Program for WHE. And ‘WHE as a means’ is categorized as Field study location, Educational subject matter or Teaching materials of the value education. World Heritage has a wealth of educational values, but is not widely used in schools. Therefore this study is to cosider the current research trends and primary lssues of WHE to reflect WHE in curriculum.
