「다문화 사회와 아동복지」 교육이 대학생의 아동권리 인식에 미치는 효과 = Exploring the Effects of 「Multicultural Society and Child Welfare」 Education on the Perception of Child Rights of University Students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생의 아동권리 인식을 파악해 보고, 「다문화 사회와 아동복지」 교과 이수에 따른 아동권리 인식의 변화를 살펴봄으로써, 대학의 「다문화 사회와 아동복지」 교과 개설 당위성을 탐색하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2018학년도 1학기에 경기도권 A대학 2학년116명에게 아동권리에 대한 인식을 설문조사하였다. 아동권리 인식은 인권감수성, 아동권리, 아동복지의 3영역으로 구성되어 있다.
조사결과, 대학생들은 아동권리 인식의 3영역 즉, 인권감수성, 아동권리, 아동복지에 대해 낮은 인식 수준을 보이고 있었다. 이들 중 60명을 임의표집하여 실험집단 30명에게는 한 학기동안 「다문화 사회와 아동복지」 교과교육을, 비교집단 30명에게는 「아동학대」를 주제로 3시간 특강을 수행하였다. 실험집단과 비교집단에게 아동권리 인식에 대한 사전･사후 검사를실시한 결과, 실험집단의 대학생들이 비교집단에 비하여 사후검사에서 아동권리 인식이 유의미하게 높아졌음을 확인할 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data to explore the legitimacy of the university's opening of 「multicultural society and child welfare」 curriculum by identifying the perception of children's rights and examining the changes in the perception of children's rights according to the 「multicultural society and child welfare」 curriculum.
In the first semester of 2018, 116 sophomores at A University in Gyeonggi-do were surveyed on their perception of children's. Child rights awareness consists of three areas: human rights reduction, child rights and child welfare.
According to the findings, university students were showing a low level of awareness about the three areas of child rights awareness: human rights awareness, child rights and child welfare.
Sixty of them were randomly selected, and 30 experimenters group were given a lecture on the subject of 「multicultural society and child welfare」 for one semester, and 30 comparison group were given a lecture on 「child abuse」.
As a result of pre and post test on the recognition of children's rights to the experimental group and the comparison group, it was confirmed that the college students in the experimental group had a significantly higher awareness of children' s rights in the post test than the comparative group.
