대구시의 발전 계획 검토와 발전방향에 대한 모색 = A Survey on Economic Planning and New Orientation of Daegu Metropolitan City

The aims of this paper is concentrated on surveying economic plans and new orientationspoints of Daegu Metropolitan City. Otherwise, this paper focuses on analysis of historical and socio-economic character of this city and economic stagnation in recent years. This paper consists of five chapters. The first chapter is introducing part of this paper. In this chapter are described the important substance of this paper. The second chapter focuses on position and situation of Daegu City in Korea. The third chapter describes the economic plans of recent years. We try to criticize the core points of these plans. The fourth chapter is concentrated on new concepts of city development. In the fifth chapter we try to get implication on city development. We think, that the concepts of economic and industrial development change rapidly. Therefore, we should have new ideas and new paradigm on future development. In case of Daegu city, new concepts on economic plan and man power allocation are indispensable points. This points might be the core of new orientation for Daegu City.
