An adolescent period is important time to prepare moral character in human's developmental process.
So, this period's musical knowledge or experience has more meaning to enhance individual's morality and quality of life as well as artistic experience. Now, our age is under going much changes by the development of internet.
The internet which is started from military purpose network has gnawed into our lives by the appearance of www. The Internet which is started by this way has been recognized as a tool of new teaching- learning to students and also has made it possible to approach a new viewpoint about educational method.
I studied the music appreciation education for students by the connection of this internet culture. At first, I investigated about general meaning and method of music appreciation education and searched the educational meaning which internet brings. Executed specific research based on such theoretical background, first searched music appreciation education that utilize internet search method. This is the method which students spontaneously access to internet, check various data, and utilize during instruction. Another method is the class method that utilize chatting function that is included to internet cafe site. It is the method that have open debate and offer various musical data by using internet cafe's chatting function. This teaching method is the instruction which has emphasis on students activities rather than teacher's instruction. More active teacher's research and labor is needed to progress these classes.
Diffusion of information device, students' more active attitudes, teachers' endeavors will make it possible to have more various and newer music appreciation instruction.
