This study positively investigated a peculiarity presented when Lee and Nam, the juvenile literary men in Kyungnam-Busan area, published their works in media during the latter colonial period (1938-1945). Through the discussion, it was able to make a list of their works; 30 pieces from Lee's productions and 91 from Nam's productions.
Lee showed two peculiar aspects. First, he greatly presented an intentional confusion on the facts about publishing during this period. He made obscurity and mistakes when recording the publication date of 31 pieces among his 33 productions, which published in 『종달새』 in 1947. It had occurred once again when publishing his works in 『빨간열매』 in 1964. Second, Lee seemed to try to establish a fact that 7 pieces of his productions, which had published during this period, were under their first publication during the restoration of independence (1945-1950).
Nam also had two aspects. First, he showed a great enthusiasm on literature using 12 different pen names since it was rough to publish a work during this period. By expanding his pen name, Nam did not had an identity as a modern writer, however, he was able to build up his local indentity. Second, Nam redundantly published his works in several media, which indicates his enthusiasm on literature. Nam had grown up as a promising writer during the restoration of independence by these two peculiarities.
Through this study, 7 works of Lee were discovered. It is anticipated that more of Nam's productions would be revealed. A stepstone has been set to study on Lee and Nam. It is necessary to research their activities further in order to redress the developing phase of juvenile literature in Kyungnam-Busan area after the restoration of independence.
