The purpose of this study was to analyze an educational needs of elementary teachers for technological literacy. The educational needs of teachers were calculated by using the Borich’s formula. The data was collected by using the mailed questionnaire developed by researcher and 917 cases were analyzed finally.
Technological literacy items were categorized as 8 groups such as an information communication technology, a design & drawing, a life & machine, a life & electricity . electron, a life & woodworking, a life & energy, and an organization & management of laboratory. Among these, teachers had comparatively high needs in the area of such as information communication technology, life & machine.
Programs or instructional materials for teacher training should be developed based on the findings of this study in the future.
