외국의 초등학교 저학년 음악과와 미술과 교육과정 분석 = Analysis of the Music and Arts Curriculum for Lower Graders in Foreign Elementary Schools

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the implications for curriculum change for lower graders in elementary schools in Korea in the future, analyzing the characteristics and formation of the Music and the Arts curriculum in foreign elementary schools. To attain the goal, this study analyzed the characteristics, organization, management, operation, nature, objectives, contents, teaching and learning, and evaluation of the Music and the Arts curriculum in foreign elementary schools. Content analysis was used in this study and the target for this study was the Music and the Arts curriculum for lower graders in elementary schools in Japan, the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Finland. The study results are as follows: The subject, ``The Pleasant Life would be appropriate for an integrated subject of the Music and the Arts. Related subjects can be integrated with the Music and the Arts. The eventual goals of the Music and the Arts curriculum for lower graders in elementary schools should be to cultivate the whole person and higher-order thinking skills. Teaching and learning methods, and the degree of actualizing evaluation should be analyzed in depth within the framework of the national curriculum. The format and the content of the national curriculum should be liberalized.
