감각통합치료가 아동의 자세조절과 시각-운동 통합 능력에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Sensory Integration Intervention for Postural control and Visual-Motor Integration

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the study is to find out how sensory integration(SI) intervention enhances postural control and visual-motor integration of the children with sensory integration disorder. The Child referred SI intervention for improvement of balance and attention span. The design of study was AB desing of single subject research. The baseline phase consisted of 3 sessions. The treatment
phase consisted of 20 sessions and performed SI intervention and evaluation for postural control and visuo-motor integration. The results showed the treatment can useful in postural control(distance between front leg of chair to heel of the child with sitting) and visuo-motor integration(eye-hand coordination and visual-motor speed
items of Korean Developmental Test of Visual Perception).
This result indicates that SI intervention can be improved postural control and visual-motor integration based on learning skill.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 감각통합장애 아동에게 감각통합치료를 적용하여 자세조절과 시각-운동 통합 능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다.
연구 기간은 2009년 2월 19일부터 2009년 5월 28일까지 약 3개월이었고, 연구 대상은 집중력과 균형감각 부족 등으로 감각통합치료기관에 의뢰된 남아 한명이었다. 연구 설계는 개별실험 연구 방법 중 AB설계를 사용하였다. 기초선 기간 동안 직접적인
감각통합치료를 제외한 초기평가를 3회기 실시하였다. 중재 기간 동안 감각통합치료를 40분씩 시행하였고, 매 회기 동안 자세조절과 시각-운동 통합 능력을 평가하였다.
연구 결과, 재평가시 감각프로파일, 한국판 시지각발달검사의 점수가 초기평가에 비해 향상되었다. 매 회기마다 평가한 의자와 아동의 발 사이 거리, 시지각발달검사의 눈-손 협응 및 시각-운동 속도 평가에서 중재 기간 동안 긍정적인 결과를 보였다.
학령기 전, 후에 중요한 학교과제를 위해 자세조절과 시각-운동 통합에 중요한 영향을 미치는 감각통합을 적용한다면 학업기술 발달에 도움이 될 것이다.
