한국에서의 개인기부에 대한 요인분석 - 설문조사자료를 중심으로 = An Economic Analysis on charitable giving of individuals in Korea

국문 초록 (Abstract)

  우리나라에서 기부는 이제까지 주로 개인보다는 기업들의 기부에 의존해 왔다. 그러나 점차로 기부에 대한 인식이 변화되면서 개인들의 금전적인 기부행위는 이제 자연스러운 행동으로 자리 잡아가고 있다. 이러한 변화는 사회의 후생증대를 공공부문에만 의존해오던 방식에서 민간부문으로 옮겨 오려는 비영리단체들의 노력과도 일치하고 있다.<BR>  그러나 이러한 사회적 변화에도 불구하고 아직까지 우리나라에서는 개인기부에 대한 분석은 거의 이루어지지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 개인기부의 행태에 대한 설문자료를 이용하여 개인기부에 영향을 미치는 요인을 경제학적으로 분석하는 데 그 목적이 있다.<BR>  연구결과 Tobit 모형과 Heckman two-step 모형에서 공통적으로 소득, 조세혜택, 자원봉사의 경험, 종교 등이 기부행위와 액수에 유의적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이것은 우리나라의 기부행태가 선진국의 경우와 유사한 변수들에 영향을 받고 있으며, 제도적인 개선을 통하여 기부를 더욱 활성화시킬 수 있음을 의미한다고 하겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

  Compared to developed countries, Donation in Korea has been mainly depended upon not individuals but the enterprises. But owing to the gradually changing recognition of the donation, it is no wonder that the individual donation became common nowadays. This change consists with the effort of the NPO which tries to move the dependence of increasing social welfare on the public sector toward on that of the private sector.<BR>  Despite this change of social trend, there is few study of analysis on the individual donation in Korea. Hence, this study focuses on analyzing factors which can affect the attitude of the individual donation by using questionnaire materials in an economical way.<BR>  The result are as follows;<BR>  Income, tax incentive, experience of volunteering and religion can make a significant effect on the individual donation in both the Tobit Method and Heckman two-step Method. This can be the explanation that the way how to make a donation in Korea is affected by the factors similar to those of the developed countries. Also, by the institutional reformation, the individual donation can be more revitalized.
