미국 대학교의 정보보호 표준교육과정 분석 = An Analysis of United States Curriculum Standard for Information Systems Security Professionals

Korea government had been set up the information security human resource development policy to meet the demand of industry field promptly through making new information security subject and related with security department in University in the level of total government. Korea information security education training curriculums and human resource development system have been developed by security major and security related professors in university but the its quality and demand did not meet the requirements of industries. Nowadays the security human resource development system is a keen issue, it must be developed and managed the education curriculum to adopt the demand of industry market need immediately. There fore, it is very meaningful to study the case of United States that captured 75% portions in worldwide security industry market in order to enforce the system effectively and efficiently. Korea government need to present the standard information training currriculum for the instruction, development and management of Korea information security human resource development system through studying US standard information security education curriculum development and management examples.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

정부는 범정부적 차원에서 정보보호 분야의 과정 신설을 통한 인력 양성과 산업체 현장에 바로 적응할 수 있는 정보보호 인력 양성 방침을 수립하고 있다. 우리나라 정보보호 교육과정은 관련 분야 전공교수를 중심으로 협동 또는 연계 과정의 형태로 인력을 양성하기 시작하였으나, 수요나 질이 산업체의 요구에 미치지 못하고 있다. 정보보호 인력 양성이 핵심과제로 떠오르는 시점에서, 시장수요에 즉각적으로 대응할 수 있도록 정부 차원에서 정보보호 교육과정이 개발·운영될 필요가 있다.
그러므로 이를 효과적이고 효율적으로 시행하기 위하여 정보보호 산업 분야에서 전 세계 시장의 75% 이상을 점유하고 있는 미국의 사례를 살펴보는 것은 의의가 있다.
본 연구는 미국의 정보보호 표준교육과정 개발과 운영사례에 대한 분석과 우리나라의 정보보호 교육과정에 대한 비교 분석을 통하여 정보보호 인력 양성을 위한 표준교육과정의 필요성과 개발 및 운영에 대한 방안을 제시하였다.
